UK-Kenya Tech Hub

Geography:
Kenya

The UK-Kenya Tech Hub was established in August 2019 as part of the Prosperity Fund Digital Access Programme (DAP) delivered by The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) with the following objectives

  • Develop the Kenyan tech Ecosystem
  • Deliver digital skills
  • Build linkages between Kenya and UK

Our goal is to catalyse digital access for underserved or excluded populations with the focus on: Affordability, Inclusivity, Safety and Security, which is the backbone of a thriving digital ecosystem.  The outcome of this achievement is to generate digital solutions to local development challenges as well as skilled jobs in the local digital economy.
