Atypical Advantage is an online platform connecting people with disabilities with career opportunities.
In India, there are over 70 million people with disabilities. Of those, less than one per cent represent the workforce. Alongside this, around 85% of disabled children in the country do not have access to education due to physical barriers, discriminatory attitudes, and inadequate support systems.
Atypical Advantage exists to train, upskill and connect people with disabilities with job opportunities that align with their abilities, supporting them to earn a dignified income and achieve financial independence.
TRANSFORM’s support is enabling the creation of an offline training academy where candidates with disabilities are taught employability skills to get them ready for work placements.
The goal is to place 1,000 people in specific job roles and enable them to earn a stable livelihood with a minimum placement target of 80% in FMCG and e-commerce industries.
