Mr. Green Africa
Mr. Green Africa is a plastics recycling company based in Nairobi, Kenya. MGA operates a unique, integrated model to collect, convert and sell post-consumer recycled materials, achieving circularity. MGA’s TRANSFORM funded project aims to develop innovative and catalytic approaches to collect plastic waste directly from consumers in Nairobi through the development and testing of building blocks of a consumer facing collection strategy. This includes conducting consumer behavior research into current practices, pain points and potential value propositions for consumers, and developing the infrastructure and technological tools needed to make engaging with MGA more convenient and safe for consumers of plastics in Nairobi.
