Empower 50,000 under-served students and teachers with digital skills in Nigeria
Some 230 million jobs across the continent will require some level of digital skills by 2030, according to a study by the International Finance Corporation (IFC). And we are on a mission to democratise digital skill learning to over 50,000 students and teachers in the Southeast and Niger-Delta regions of Nigeria by 2022.
The project is designed to help young beneficiaries to skill up their digital prowess and also be exposed to the business side of their skills with the end goal of providing them linkage to job, internship opportunities and/or building their startups thereby reducing unemployment, underemployment, and crime amongst young people in the Southeast and Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
We are positioned to help 50,000 young people to acquire digital skills through access to our cloud server with dedicated computers to begin any digital career of their choice at zero cost for a period of one year. This will contribute immensely towards eradicating poverty, promote zero Hunger, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Reduce Inequality.
