In 2015, the United Nations unveiled 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) to replace the millennium goals that had set the agenda for international cooperation and development in the first part of the 21st century. The 17th goal stands out from the rest. Its entitled Partnerships for the Goals. The official description is: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalise the global partnership for sustainable development.

Established in the same year 2015, TRANSFORM has so far supported 61 enterprises and research projects in 13 counties, and has positively impacted the lives more than 6 million people.

This report outlines how TRANSFORM leverages the capabilities and expertise of its core organisations to support impact enterprises in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia to deliver market-based solutions that address the world’s biggest development challenges.
